Join us for an in depth interview with Greg Zuber, Principal Percussionist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
Greg has been a member of the orchestra since 1986 and has a tremendous amount knowledge and experience. As an educator and faculty member at the Juilliard School, Greg will also demonstrate two snare drum exercises he uses regularly.
Greg will also be discussing his recently released snare drum sticks, Nothung and the Excalibur.
Sharing the backstory of each pair and even play several standard orchestral excerpts. We will also see some of Greg’s non percussion passions and other accomplishments, like mountain biking!
