Command+Q is a dangerous shortcut to assign, as it quits most programs you're in. Have to be certain you're currently acting under your Finder.

iTerm2 -> Preferences -> Profile -> Keys

+ (add key)

skip forward:
keyboard shortcut: ctrl + f
action: send escape
esc + f

skip backwards:
keyboard shortcut: ctrl + d
action: send escape
esc + b

System preferences -> keyboard ->shortcuts -> services
Under files and folderd, check the box and add a shortcut key (command + t ) for “New Iterm2 window Here"


clearing the screen - command + R

command + d
command +[
Command +]



Create window configuration:

horizontal split: command + option + H
vertical split: command +option + V

Save arrangement: command + shift + S

Launch arrangement: command + shift + R

open links: command + click

To clear the iterm screen you could also use `control + L` :)

To go to the end of the line is Control -e, not Control-a even though he says "a" he means "e" because you can see the keyboard in the video show he is pressing "e".

Command+Q. Tested it and the video disappeared :(
