Underconsumption Is NOT Any Better Than Overconsumption!

Am I the only one feeling a bit exhausted by the constant wave of new cores and trends taking over TikTok? It feels like every single day we see a fresh trend taking over social media and it’s not even groundbreaking. Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of underconsumption content, which is clearly a response to the overconsumption trend, and honestly, it’s wild.

I just came here because I do not have/watch tik tok, and barely any shorts on YT. I don't care about trends! I am working from home, being comfortably in my early forties! :) I love nice bags (hence being on this channel) but I own exactly one, that might be considered fancy. I wear joggers most of my days, which are perfect for taking my dogs for a walk. Few time a year (date nights, in person business meetings) I put on a bra, strings and heels, and shedding them as soon as I can! I can't relate to people who are late awake at night thinking "Am I align with the trends????" (if there are even people like that!). This video is not for me. I am so happy about it! Live your life! Like yourself! Don't care about trends. They come and go - be yourself <3

if something you find normal is groundbreaking to others, you shouldn't discourage it

especially if it's helping them see life through another perspective, and helping them understand life better

you don't need to get offended just because other people find your normalcy "amazing".

the trend might die but hey at least they tried. even if a rich snobby person wants to try, inviting them or inspiring them is always the good thing to do.

i also think a lot of these people who are criticizing this trend, is mistakenly assuming "normal lifestyle" people are being made fun of. you guys reallt find a reason to be mad at everythinf

Surely the whole point in calling it underconsumption core is that it's an antidote to and pointing out the absurdity of overconsumption? Seems to miss the point that pretty much all of this is content for promotion by the algorithms.
