I live in Oregon and this case is highly unusual. I have been shocked by how Idaho is handling this case. A lot of things in this process are unusual and strike me as unfair from the side of the state.

Awesome summary. My perception is that people have less and less trust in LE in this case every day. You are correctimundo that the court was shockingly dismissive in almost quoting the Rolling Stones saying 'you can't always get what you want'. Wait, What? this is a DP case, the Constitution requires that the defense receive all exculpatory evidence and also all other relevant evidence. My guess: this case is headed for appeal and multiple trials. Keep it up!

I keep thinking about what if Bryan followed through with the speedy trial? Yet 7 months after the speedy trial court date, the prosecution still has not turned over discovery.

Why does the judge have no control over the prosecution? I blame the judge as he says he read everything yet cannot force the prosecution to be honest. Billy Thompson said he gave Anne Taylor 95% of the evidence a couple of months ago. This whole case is sus.

Hi Lana I have been following the Idaho 4 case from the beginning and to be honest nothing makes sense in this case

B.T. also told the judge that if the defence is going to have expert witnesses testify and show BK wasn’t near the area at the time of the crime that the prosecution will request more time to gather a list of witnesses that can put BK at 1122 king.

If these witnesses actually exist like BT claims then Why hasnt he already got that list and the witnesses ready to testify instead of relying on all this dodgy cast evidence etc.

I was shocked when the Judge said, "You can't always get what you want." That statement was absurd and that is not how the law and discovery rules work in America. If the evidence exists, there is a legal duty to obtain and produce it. If the Prosecution doesn't produce the discovery material, the Judge is supposed to sanction them and bar that evidence from being used in Court. Its also shocking that even after a year and a half, the Prosecution is just now issuing subpoenas to the FBI for certain documents. Honestly, I've wondered, from day one, why the FBI was involved in this case at all. Moscow is a small town and these crimes were not Federal.

This is not a normal case!! I have never witnessed such indecisive rulings by a judge or such unprofessional behavior by a prosecutor as in this case. To me, personally the prosecutor & Judge act like we are here to convect the defendant and we aren't going to let anyone or thing get in our way. It's a sham trial 🤬

"How how .... how?" Regarding the state using the IGG to get to BK and then declaring that it is not necessary for them to disclose their process, since now it wont be needed at trial. 🤷‍♀️ So I completely agree with that sentiment. "How how... . How?" 🙆‍♀️ 🤯
(Like maybe we did break several laws and violate a few Constitutional Civil Rights, to arrive at an otherwise impossible finding. It's not like were gonna use any of that. And since it's not going to be brought into the case, you cant bring it up. Now Shut up about it. Okay?) Wth?

The FBI/Law enforcement doesn’t want the cat out of the bag that they have a back door to all the DNA genealogy sites the same way they do with the social media sites.

I live in the United States and I think this court case is an anomaly this is craziness. This tiny little ho bunk town is protecting themselves from what really happened because they don't want the bad publicity and they don't want to lose students who keep the town running as far as money goes
