I respectfully disagree. As long as you are consistently doing that exact same amount it’s doesn’t matter if you’re a little off. 10.1 ml or 9.9 ml, it doesn’t really matter. Just make sure it’s the exact same each time.

“Not accurate” proceeds to pull a syringe full of bubbles.

As someone sho studies/ works in a lab with these types of pipettes. don't put the pipette so deep in the water. only the tip and max a few cm/ an inch. otherwise your readings will be off aswell.
Also make sure that NO water or liqued enters the pipette mechanisme by for ex turning the pipette upside down when liquid is inside of the tip.
I even use this on my freshwater tanks to quick and easy dose fertilizers and suplements. just make sure to switch the tips if you do so

Here I was thinking it would address issues with the glass of the cuvette itself; cleaning it, detecting bending/thickening of the glass, etc

I got one of these off Amazon a few weeks ago not because it’s more accurate, but because it’s faster and i test my dKh daily and everything else weekly. It was about $40, but if you do a lot of testing it’s worth it

How do you know the chemicals are accurate!

If Hanna’s 10ml line is off then how accurate are their testers?
I used to fill to the line but I used a 10ml syringe and every single cuvette is off.

Bro, your home test kit isn't accurate enough for this to matter, just fill it up to the mark (with the lowest point of the surface tension beeing at the mark), just do that consistently.

It may go faster with a micropipett, but come on...

This is why I’m never gonna have a saltwater tank. Y’all are masochists. Finding new ways to spend money over LITERALLY the smallest things lol
