Hi! Could you please clarify do I need to invoke InitializeComponent for ContentView classes?
For now, I have: “CS0103 The name ‘InitializeComponent’ does not exist in the current context” and everything looks like this method is simply not generated.

okay so i followed your guide with dotnet maui check to install everything and vs preview 2022. Still doesnt show templates in the create project menu. Not sure where i've gone wrong

Looks like .Net Maui Class library template not shown in VS2022 preview 3. Tried repairing VS and installed all workloads using dotnet workload install maui and maui-check. How to get the class library template?

Getting a lot of error when did the same file->new->project. Workload not installed this that and what not. Can you show om installing and configuring maui from scratch

I don't see why they move Absolute and Relative layouts into compatibility which means they might not maintained like the other layouts right?. Absolute layout is helpful when creating really complex design which required animations also.
Kym Phillpotts use them all the time :(
