I really liked how this was more focused on the victims’ families, who are victims in their own right, than on the perpetrator. Serial killers are so often glamorized because they’re so interesting on a psychological level and the idea of them even existing is so scary, but we need to just see them as just selfish and narcissistic POSs who hurt a lot of people for their own enjoyment. Every clip here of Steve Relford is so heartbreaking to watch, how he still carries so much pain so many years later, and how he has carried so much guilt and regret over innocently opening the door at 6 years old. Just devastating. I wish him and all the other victims healing and peace.

help out the local shelter and get a dog or two. Even if they are super friendly or tiny, they pretty much always bark at sounds outside.
Burglars don't like dogs because they make too much noise. Even if a burglar is targeting someone and gives the dog treats or steak or kills the dog. The dog almost always barks first. They are almost always your first alarm.
I've watched so many of these true crime shows over the last few months. I think only two or three of the cases actually had a dog. And then the dog(s) didn't bark or didn't, 5 bark for long because they knew the bad guy/gal.

I live in NY. This case has always bothered me. I drove a corporate sedan back during this time. I took a client’s client home to Gilgo Beach after a Christmas party. It’s so desolate and creepy I can’t imagine those girls being taken there and how terrified they were. 😢

Ladies no matter how hard life gets try to avoid this path. Imagine you are alone in the dark with a stranger … I don’t even want to think about the horror those victims went through once they realised what was going to happen
