Ironman 3 shouldn’t have been made. It added nothing, having no real impact on Tony’s life. Needless to say the MCU would have gone on perfectly fine without the third.

Ironman 2: The plutonium in Tony’s arc reactor is killing him and he finds a new element

Ironman 3: Builds 100s of Ironman suits, and blows them all up. Then gets surgery to remove arc reactor

Infinity war: Tony regains his arc reactor🤦🏻‍♂️
