We in Egypt add onion first and after couple of minutes add garlic and then tomato and after maybe 5 minutes we add the aggs and mix all together ( we don't keep the eggs like in the video) and when eggs totally cooked so it's really to eat and you get all flavour ❤and no cheese ❤

This is the first shakshuka recipe I’ve ever seen without onions or garlic. I’m not saying it’s bad, but I thought those were essential to a good shakshuka. I use onions, garlic, and sometimes even leftover potatoes that have been diced.

I did shakshouka this morning for the first time and my family basically scooped the pan clean with the bread now my parents are gonna start making their own and adding different condiments for different tastes but it was literally chefs kiss 🤌🏼
