Yes, she has the right to get any cosmetic surgery she wants- but I remember when she was first casted as Katniss, she was very open and vocal about all the negativity she received from the industry about her appearance. She has also stated multiple times that she’s always thought she looked great, but was constantly told otherwise. I can’t help but think that these procedures were less about what she wanted, and more about what was expected of her.

Her new face is very “perfect, ” it hits all of our conventional beauty standards. Yet, she looks very generic. What was left of her unique features were removed, along with the artificial features that she had from previous surgeries. What’s left is very bland tbh, it may be “perfect” but honestly perfection is pretty boring. As someone with hooded eyes myself, it makes me sad to see the few celebs who kept their hooded eyes getting rid of them. Not to blame J'Law in any way, I can't imagine what it must feel like if everyone around you sees the beauty doc more often then their mother, but J'Law has always been a great example for a gorgeous face with hooded eyes. Now she looks like all these Kims Megans and Arianas: beautiful but cold and sharp.

As a huge hunger games fan, I’ve been keeping an eye on J’Law over the years. I think her plastic surgery looks good, but at the same time it is disappointing to see her unique features fade over the years, especially with the upper facelift and her most recent changes. It's interesting to me, how the more surgery done, the more celebrities begin to look like one another. I am far from perfect but know my imperfections have been passed down gentically from my parents and ancestors which reminds me to honor them by remaining me. I hope that whatever the reasoning Jennifer had this done, it wasnt because she felt she had to, to be loved. She was beautiful at all stages.

Thank you for this video! I recently saw No Hard Feelings in the theatre. I actually gasped the first time I saw her face on the big screen because she looked so different! Not in a bad way, just not how I remember her looking in prior films. I think she has lost a bit of her unique look, but I think it's hard for us "normal" people to understand the enormous pressure on actresses to stay looking youthful.

The change between 18-21 is really drastic, the before doesn’t even look like her. I guess because she made that change so young, the after is what’s recognizable. And I honestly thought she was so beautiful and even with plastic surgery had a unique look. I liked that her face was rounder, it made her look youthful. Edit: I was looking at pictures the other day after reading her interview with Kylie and I think the makeup in the thumbnail did make it seem like she had more plastic surgery than she has. Her eyes are still hooded though the makeup is done well to make them not look so. And she talked about her makeup artist over-lining her lips. It's probable she has some lip filler but not as drastic as the photos show. You can really see the over-lining at 13:43

Oh my god, I just recently saw a picture of her right now and I almost didn‘t recognize her, I was pretty sure she got significant plastic surgery so very excited to see what you think she has had done

I had a weird attachment to her and for some reason it's sad to see her now! We can't know that we wouldn't make the same choices under the same pressures. Makeup only explains so much. I had no idea she'd done so much starting so young.

she had such unique features and was the only actress that has came so far in her career with her features. now she has perfected everything, and her unique eyes are turned into almost almond eyes. I genuinely gasped at where she has come to. whatever the reason, it's somehow saddening to see someone leave most of the features she had behind.
