PH Meter calibration issues Part 1

Trying to calibrate the meter with 6.86 buffer powder solution. But it keep shown error and unable to read any ph. Help help..

I sprayed the glass bulb with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and soaked the end in hot tap water (as hot as your faucet has), blasted with IPA again, gently scrubbed the glass bulb with a boar's hair shaving brush and rinsed the tip and bulb in hot water. After I dried the tip off I soaked the end in distilled water and was able to calibrate the PH meter. Dried gunk gets built up on the glass bulb especially if the meter is used for measuring PH of hydroponic solutions which have dissolved salts, etc in the solution.

Same here, I’m only being offered a refund. I tried the take the battery out and it still doesn’t work. I even tried soaking it in distilled water and still no luck!

Same pen same issues . Even with new batteries i think this pen is a peice of junk going off how many people have the same issue

Mine will only calibrate to 6.86 but when try to calibrate 4.0 it will display 6.86 again can’t get It to go on to the next cal ph4.0

Im having issues with one that looks the same. Did you solve it? Manual says to soak the tip in the liquid for a few hours... trying that now.

Important!!! Or not but i just got a new one today and used purified drinking water (not sure if wrong) for the packets at 250ml and I would get the error when trying to calibrate the 4.01 ph one and wouldnt go away unless i removed the battery, but then I calibrated the other two packets with acurate reading and tested the 4.01 ph and it was at 3 ph so!!!! **I think if you try to calibrate without the correct ph lvl you might get the error code.

Don't loose the press until the reading stopped blinking that's your wrong process

You have to invest in a decent pen and clean it with ipa regularly
