When you go 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and someone makes you look slow!

My 2018 Camaro ZL1 - the Tree-L1 - with 800 rwhp going 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, and the Turbo Mustang next to me made me regret my life choices.

True story: I was at this race...so do you all notice how the stands are mostly empty? Well there was actually a lot of people there that day and the Pony kept pulling hard to the right on the launch. He had to let out a few times or else he would of been crossing lanes, so they made a few adjustments to the car and it still wasn't wanting to hold the track. So what they finally figured out was that if all of us in the bleachers went down to the end of the track and stood in a big crowd behind the sand trap fence the Mustang would head straight for us as long as the throttle was pinned 🤪

By my calculations, the other car did 0-60 in less than 2.5 seconds.

I’ve ran a 2.01 0-60 on a track according to my draggy and have had several people drive away from me like I’m in reverse. So I fully understand when this guy says “that’s a fast car. That’s a really fast car.”

I rewatched this at .25% speed, focusing on the 2 second internal where you went from 0-62. During that period, he passed you right around the one second mark and by the 2 second mark was gaining considering speed. Of course, I don't know the exactly distance he gained, but by the length of his car and the parking lot to to the left I can generalize the distance he pulled ahead of you in the second second. My guess is the mustang was between 40 to 60 feet ahead of you. On the low end, that means he traveled 40 feet further than you in a 1 second interval. Based on your acceleration of 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, I estimate he was going fast a fuck boy.
