2:25 I had only pulled the cable down and then tightened the cable holder, but the brake lever had no resistance when pulled. After seeing this video I tried pushing the arm up a bit and then tighten, like what you did. and it worked! So glad I found this video. Thank you so much!

Just purchased an MTB and bikes nowadays are way much different than bikes years ago as far as I can remember. Only had rim brakes before but after spending a lot of time outside with my new bike, the brake pads have worn out, needed to change them and your video is just as informative and educational. Thanks heaps.

It's so funny...I have been able to do this numerous times with my hydraulic brakes, but I need a video to work on the simplier mechanical ones....Thank you for your help. If I can't stop, then I shouldn't be making

I have no brand or anything on my brakes but ordered pads that looked the same shape and I'm hoping for the best we don't have bike shops in my town
