On the one hand your a walking armoury capable of pulling out almost any weapon not so large it needs to be mounted on a Knight/Titan (which in 40k is a pretty useful thing)

On the other hand you have chaos herpes and are insane.

Y'all remember how in starcraft 2 the infected marines had their weapons fused to their bodies? That reminded me a lot of that and and damn is pretty dope

In the Siege of Castellax; an iron warriors Raptor was shown to be in the beginning stages of transformation into an obliterator. Having to scrub and prune fleshy growths that were spreading out from under his armour. Another obliterator encouraged him to simply allow the infection to consume him, but he ended up dying after a brief daemonic possession.

While they don't have to deal with the previous stages or any after, Death Guard members do start to experience something similar to stage 4 with their armor after worshipping Nurgle long enough

Makes you wonder what would happen if an Obliterator accidentally bumped into another Obliterator.
