The Vaccine Schedule | Parents

Watch as Parents shows you the vaccine schedule you should look to for your child. Do you have to follow the recommended vaccine schedule for children, or is there flexibility in the timing of immunizations? The childhood vaccination schedule is safe and effective. Children today receive many more vaccinations than we did because modern medicine has now successfully been creating more of them. Immunizations prevent horrible, serious infections that you wouldn't want your child to pick up. Diseases such as Bacterial Meningitis now have shots that protect against the three different strains of the disease. Even with a larger number of total shots than there was years ago, a child's immune system has less work to do because of the way newer vaccines are made. Vaccines are researched for an average of 15 years before they are used, and this process includes how they react with older shots. Working with your doctor and the CDC vaccination schedule is the safest method because the timing is so important. No research shows that delaying certain shots is safer.

The "autism" case was disproved a long time ago. What they've actually found is that the rate of children with autism coincided with mothers who were induced before 36weeks (for whatever reason) and it hampered with the development of the fetus (especially the brain). Yes diseases have been on the rise, measles is skyrocketing in the u.s., and diphtheria which was eradicated has returned due to nonvaccinating parents in Spain. They have had to dig through decades worth of medical notes to find the cure for this child b/c there hadn't been a case in SOOO long. I am in the medical field so please trust me when I tell you that vaccines actually prevent diseases. There are things all over the internet without any factual evidence saying it poisons kids etc. I was vaccinated- I don't have autism and I've been too of my class in the medical field. I wasn't vaccinated for chicken pox when I was 2 (the vaccine was new at that time) and yes I got chicken pox and was hospitalized- it almost KILLED ME. Please do your research. I will definitely vaccinate my kids no question.
