An introduction to Causal Inference - Prof Robin Evans

In this video, Prof Robin Evans (University of Oxford) introduces causal graph models, and then show how to estimate causal effects by applying results based on these models. We also give some warnings about just adjusting for all covariates that are measured prior to the cause variable. Then we will look at some methods for estimating these causal effects in both low and high-dimensional cases, including Double Machine Learning and BART.
