Jokic made us Nuggets fan forget about Melo. Our best regular seasons came right after Melo left. He was a great scorer for that era, his game never evolved and his trade request was a blessing in disguise. People are trying to make Melo out to be something he isn't.

No melo left Denver on bad terms with the fans. On one of his last days in a Nuggets uniform he ripped into the fans and mocked them for being backwards unsophisticated hicks. He did this in a post-game interview on the floor. He treated us badly so F him and retiring his number. While both prayers were great on the floor Jokic is 100 times the man that the child melo ever was or will be.

Jokic sounds like the guy who would compromise to use another No. and let Melo retire his No. 15. Jokic is the same guy who went to the coaching staff and suggested to have him benched so that they wouldn't have to trade Nurkic. Jokic is that type of person who will give to others, regardless of whether or not they deserve it
