They need to go get Bogdan. They played well together on Serbia. He’s an obtainable asset especially to a team who may be hitting a reset

Here’s my problem. Nuggets are paying Jamal like he’s an all star caliber player. He’s not. Look at him when jokic is off the court. He’s basically a role player. They need to be payed what they’re actually worth.

I totally disagree.
1. Christian Braun is a great perimeter defender.
If he develops his shooting, he'll worthily replace KCP.
2. Russ is way better than Bruce or Reggie as a substitute of Jamal.
If he plays with Jokic, they'll intimidate every opponent.
3. Dario is way better than Zeke or DeAndre as a substitute of Jokic.
Very smart and great passer.
4. Everybody forgot how good Jamal is? Last year he played injured in all playoffs!
We know what he can do if he's healthy.
5. Jokic will be Jokic.

I bet they will win the West.

lebron from the last 3 election years is a hilarious sentence 😭

As long as Jamal is in the team, Jokic prime will be wasted

Everyone loves to be pessimistic about Nuggets, but... It is not so bad. Nuggets now have good help for Jokic (Dario Saric), good high motor replacement in Westbrook, GREAT bench shooter in Strawther, and great all round defender in Watson. We're good...

Couldn’t disagree more. Nuggets will be a top1-4 seed in the west and one of the toughest outs in NBA.

They have the easiest schedule in NBA based on SOS, rest days, travel, etc.

They’re over/under is 51.5 wins.

I’ll be shocked if they don’t make WCF

The MPJ contract is so crippling. Guy is not worth that money. So frustrating. Wish we could get other players with that money

Braun, Peyton and Julian Strawther have to be ready for the playoffs or else they’re screwed. Dario and Russ should anchor the bench well but those guys have to be able to score

KCP should absolutely still be in Denver. He was a huge piece for them. All defensive level player and great 3pt shooter.
They are relying on young guys hoping they get better but they don’t really have guys with a lot of potential. Idk who they think they have

idk what to do. my instinct is to rebuild around Gordan and Joker, but the contracts are un-fucking-tradeable.

Everyone is overreacting to the loss of KCP. Of course, Nuggets would rather have him on the team, but Nuggets is still a contender because I genuinely think the bench got much better. In short, I would say the starting lineup got slightly worse because of the lack of shooting, but bench improved quite significantly from what Nuggets had before. Nuggets was desperately in need of a backup PG and center more than any other positions. When is the last time Nuggets have a legit backup PG and Center? Most likely, Monte Morris back in 2019-20 season when the team was healthy. As for center, it was DeMarcus Cousins, but that was when Murray was injured as well. Before that, Mason Plumlee? Dario Saric is a clear upgrade over Mason Plumlee or Zeke Nnaji in the past year. And I am 100% confident that even an age 36, Russel Westbrook is much better than Monte Morris or Reggie Jackson. Just to clarify this point as well. Russel Westbrook is supposed to be the Reggie Jackson replacement, not KCP replacement. While Christian Braun is likely to be the KCP replacement. Also, it's kind of absurd comparing the Bucks to the Nuggets. There are similarities between them, but they are not the same. Just look at the average age between each team's core and who is under more pressure to win another ring. As for the upgrades the Bucks made. I'm not so sure they have fixed their defense entirely. Is Gary Trent a good enough perimeter defender to cover for their backcourt? Or will he just be another Malik Beasley? Not to mention, the Buck's center situation is dicey. Brook Lopez is not the same player he was 2 years ago. Buck's veteran signings look great on paper, but will that be enough in the playoffs to even compete with the best teams in the East? We shall see.

Im surprised you didnt mention the Jamal Murray decline( maybe its injury related) and also Jokic's jump shot has declined.

And then Jamal Murray contract situation the nuggets have to deal with 😂
Is he worth the max? And if hes not, what are they gonna do, because Jokic heavily needs Murray.

This dude is clueless. Other teams got much much better has a lot to do with the season struggles. MPJ also had some untimely cold spells, which combined with his spotty defense hurt, although his defense has improved have to admit.
Would like to see DJ Burns with the Nuggets and maybe someone like Paddy Mills. Team chemistry is more than most fans understand.
And to say Russ is "washed up" is proving the casual fan again.
This type of goofball said Bron was too old and he was just Paris Olympics MVP about to have his 40th birthday.
I'm guessing this Ewe Toober can't run full court for more than 5 possessions without whining.

2:39 I am pretty sure in 2022 Steph Curry averaged 27.4 PPG in the playoffs and 31.2 PPG in the finals
