I know you don’t want to share what’s been going on in your personal life, but please know that your fan base cares about you and your mental health. You are more then the content you produce, and you are allowed to take breaks. Happy early birthday to your sweet sweet Grace, and thank you for continuing to be a fantastic mother. ❤️

Would you ever consider doing an “all the items I’ve rated a 10/10” video? I’d love to see them all in one place!!

What a beautiful surprise!! A friend told me you mentioned me in your video and can I just say thank you sooo much for your sweet comments & compliments!! As a smaller creator, i never ever expect to see myself being mentioned from larger channels! Also loved and agreed with your review! I’ll purchase more dresses and basics for sure! The green dress looks gorgeous on you 🤩💚💚. Hope you wear & love it as much I do!! New subbie!!

Perhaps the greatest irony is that princess Polly is now VERY size inclusive for Australia. I don’t think it’s actually reflective of the sizes of Australian people but in Australia we traditionally have rather small size ranges. A lot of straight sizes in stores only go up to an Aus 14/16 (American 10/12). It’s slowly moving towards 18 (American 14) being an option too in straight sized stores but it’s rare. And in terms of plus size, a lot of sizing seems to stop at Aus 20… which is an American 16 or so… so yeah, sizing is a real pain in Australia and we also just don’t have the luxury of the same amount of choice. Prices also are usually more for less quality… even fast fashion is more expensive. This is not across the board of course but it doesn’t surprise me that Princess Polly is exxy while not having the same level of quality you’d expect.

I think the issue with ‘misleading’ sizing comes from the fact that you are an American shopping an Australian brand. US numbered sizing is the equivalent to AU 2 sizes bigger, and I find that American brands are far more size inclusive right off the bat. I am Australian and about a size 18-20 in bottoms (US 14-16) and I have a really hard time finding pants/skirts/shorts that fit in store in Australia; like almost impossible. My partner is American and we visit family there often (pre COVID 😢) and I almost never struggle to find my size in store when I shop there.

So Princess Polly introducing this ‘plus size range’ that maxes out at an AU 24 is pretty typical of an Australian plus size range. Many brands don’t go above a size 16, maybe 18, so 24 is considered pretty good.

I personally agree that it doesn’t go far enough and true size inclusive brands need to be reaching AT LEAST a 28-30 (AU), and ideally would go higher than even that, but that’s just not the reality here.

This all to say that while it is frustrating they don’t carry bigger sizes, it’s not an issue with them being ‘true to size’ or trying to mislead people/misrepresent their sizing, rather just an issue with idea of what inclusive sizing means - in Australia in particular.

It is important to remember that the letter sizing is not the same from country to country. This seems to be an Australian brand, which means that the letter sizing might not match what the American letter sizing is. Coming from Europe, the sizes check out for me: I wear EU size 38, UK size 10, letter size M. At the same time, I have noticed that if I order clothes from the US, I have to pick size S.

It does not negate the issue of size inclusivity, but recently I have seen more than one video where Americans assume that all sizing match American sizing, so I felt like it was worth mentioning.

im glad to see someone talking honestly about the quality of princess polly - ive bought some stuff after seeing influencers push the brand and im usually disappointed in how it feels for the price. i would never buy something from here if it wasnt on sale

Some of those peices give me "made for plus size, but never tested on a plus size body" vibes

Sierra I just want to say that I started watching you when I was a size 8 to 10 and I really related to you in that midsize range. Then over the past few years I’ve gained a good amount of weight and now I’m having to face being on more the plus size range. I feel like in a way we’ve grown together and it has helped me astronomically to accept my body, especially when I don’t have anyone close to me who has the same body type ❤️ ❤️❤️ you’re the best!

This sizing chart has cleared up things a little for me. I always wondered how we wore completely different sizes even when I felt our bodies looked alike. But there is huge difference in German vs. US sizing it seems. Also reminds me last time I ordered an XL from Abercrombie and it was too big when usually a size XXL in Germany runs too small on me. Sizing is all over the place and can turn shopping into a terrible experience.

Sierra, I’m Lauryn and I met you at Lego Land last Friday. You’ve been such an impact on my life and I’m so incredibly thankful for my husband pushing me to go and say hello. You were so kind and just like in the videos. When you hugged me it felt like hugging a best friend. Thank you!

Oh Sierra how I have missed seeing you, your family, and content lately! But I totally understand going through things you don't feel like discussing. Never feel bad for putting you, your mental/physical health, and your family FIRST. We will be here whenever you are back 💗 On another note I can't believe sweet Grace is turning 1!! I remember waiting weeks for you to go into labor, and then finally watching the birth vlog 🥺 Sending all the love to you & your little fam!

green dress is SUCH a good wedding guest dress to add to your rotation from the ones you showed in the vlog!

Did people not see that the sizing chart was there with both the AUS and US sizes? That’s specifically to avoid confusion from country to country. If their sizing chart does achieve that or isn’t accurate then that’s on the company, not the buyer, regardless of where they live.

If we’re being honest the brand literally can’t be sustainable and ethical with the amount of clothes in their collection, the frequency of their releases and the prices, like there’s just no way. This is no shade to you (that would be total hypocrisy on my part) because sustainable and ethical fashion isn’t accessible to everyone. However, I think it’s important that we understand the fast fashion model completely contradicts the foundations of sustainable and ethical fashion and it’s impossible for this company to have even remotely the same business model as it has now if it wants to change for the better. I tend to distrust promises for future change when I know that they will inevitably have to become less profit focussed for a significant amount of time.

I’ve recently had to size up, mainly in bottoms, and have been taking it hard. I really try to focus on how I feel in the clothes rather than the size on the tag but it’s so hard! With summer coming, I’m feeling super self-conscious and almost ‘ucky’ in my own skin. I’d love to see some more support type videos or how to style a new size using staple pieces.

The green button-up over the brown bodysuit is SO CUTE on you! Those colors look so good together and they look so great with your skin tone!!

PSA when looking at quality of anything with a pattern, stripe, or plaid from someone whose done a lot of sewing. If the plaid doesn't match on the seams it isn't great quality and well made ❤️ Sierra your observation on the pants was spot on because when you turned to the side the plaid was off on the seams ❤️

Everything is at least $20 more than I would want to pay for it ha ha. I guess I’m just cheap. Loved the blue dress Sierra!

For another Australian brand I'd recommend City Chic, they're a dedicated plus size store and have really lovely stuff! More on the expensive side but very good quality.
