As a beekeeper, I feel compelled to give some info: Most allergies are from tree pollen, and most of those trees are wind pollinated, not bee pollinated. So bee pollen will not help with most allergies. It might be good for other issues, and of course local honey which is raw and unfiltered is full of interesting stuff which is good for you (although of course it is basically mostly sugar). Honey is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral. I encourage all to support local honey producers.

21 years riding the NYC subways I would get sick 3 or 4 times a year. I’ve gone the last 4 years without getting sick once. I was trying to figure out what I did right that was different. The only thing I could think of is bee pollen every day. Makes a huge difference.

I've been taking be pollen for years. Mainly in the spring. Local bee pollen. Because the bees collect pollen from the environment you live near. No more allergies.

I got some bee pollen at a local farmers market about a week ago. Been putting about 1Tbsp in a smoothie every other day. I didn't even realize it until after watching this video; but, I am sometimes a chronic sniffer. Maybe just coincidence... I haven't had any sniffles the last few days. I will keep using this in my smoothies for sure!

I’m trying to get my wife into doing the local bee pollen. I have never in my life seen somebody with so many allergies!!!! I use to be highly allergic to poison ivy and I was a kid and at about age 18 I grew out of it. I’ve been doing heating and air-conditioning for half my life now and the one thing I can tell you it is with all these new construction homes being so airtight today’s kids are not being exposed to the outdoor elements like our grandparents did in their drafty old farm houses. My theory is they are not being exposed to it and building an immunity. Not to mention food today is so processed vs farm grown home cooked meals 50 years ago.

Local beekeeper here. I give out raw bee pollen to people with Allergies. My wife use to use about 5 big boxes of tissue a month no exaggeration she started consuming the honey and in here tea and I noticed she hasn’t ask me to buy tissue lately. It’s definitely something to local honey and raw bee pollen.

We are fortunate to have a beekeeper that keeps several hives on our property, and gives us free honey for using our space. I’ll have to ask him about pollen granules the next time he visits his bees. He also teaches a beekeeping class at a local community college, so he’s full of interesting information on the subject.

Start out slow. Only 2 or 3 granuals per day at first. Then slowly work your way up. Adding a few granuals a week as yiu build up to maybe a teaspoon a day. Many people have bad allergic reactions if you take too much too soon ...until you get used to it. I have it in a bottle...there are little salt like granuals...I recommend starting out with 3 or 4 little granuals then work your way up slowly.

My cholestrol was up at 4.9 and my doctor wanted to put me on statins which I said no way! So I started taking bee pollen...I have been taking it for about 5 months or so...and wanting to do an experiment to see if bee pollen works for cholestrol...so without changing anything with my diet/exercise...my levels have come down to 4.1 in that time...so I can definitely say to everyone that bee pollen is amazing!!! Thank you Dr Berg for all of your brilliant information :)
