I like how Politicians and trucking companies/ shippers want these trucks to solve the driver shortage. But don't understand how many people are going to be out of work. Also who is going to put tire Chains on it when go through the mountains. And lot of things drivers do. Like pre trip inspection.

After a few accidents when people sue the company poof that would be just a thing of the past. People will start signing petitions left and right when that happens. That's a waste of money

The US highways and roads and bridges are not ready for something like this!! This is gonna be extremely dangerous! And trucks and sensors on them break a lot all the time for multiple reasons, what will happen when the cameras and sensors start failing in the middle of a highway? How are you gonna get to a self driving truck in the middle of heavy traffic because the sensors are faulty? You think there is lots of accidents now, wait until one of this big death machines are in the middle of bad weather on the mountains and little passageways without a driver!! 🤦‍♀️what a desperation to not have to pay truck drivers 🤦‍♀️
