Any video that says something like “this isn’t the right way to do this” without stating the correct or better way sucks.

I used to struggle with ear and sinus infections due to allergies. But then I started flushing my sinuses and using hydrogen peroxide to clean my ears. I am 70 now and got a cold 3 weeks ago- first cold since 2014. I haven't had an ear infection in some 40 years.

She should say "dont use IF YOU HAVE A WAX IMPACTION." There is a safe way to use them imo

I’ve used Q-tips for years and have never had a problem.

yeah this is also understandable due to the fact that q-tips arent even made for ur ears but we still do it, q-tips are actually made for art and make-up

She was just shoving it back to prove her point lol. I use smaller headed ones and dont just shove it back. I use a twisting motion back and forth and only go so far. Taught myself from years of experience and having to get my ears flushed out every other week. Not anymore haha.

Not sure if anyone seen it before or used it before but back then during my parents time, they use a thin metal rod like a needle but the end is flat-bended(not sharp at all and rather tiny). To use it, the motion to clean the earwax is like scraping it(gently). It is extremely scary for the first time but it works great(not pushing it deep end). Now im not sure if theres any health hazard and recommend this at all but its a rather unique method back from the past.

I don’t even like the feeling of a Q tip in my ear, so I don’t use them often, but I can also not stand when someone has crusty dusty ears, like I’m not gonna let you borrow my ear buds anymore

what i usually do is use the q-tips and put some baby oil there so it can catch the smaller ear wax, and for the bigger ones i use the regular old metal stuff

If you only use q tips directly after a shower, the wax is relatively soft and easily removed with a q tip... ear wax is kind of like bacon grease.

Hydrogen peroxide, or Debrox (I think the peroxide is cheaper, and more versatile). Lie down on one side, put a few drops in, give it 15 minutes, then drain and do the other side!
My ears produce obscene amounts of wax, so if I don’t do this say, weekly? I end up having to go to the doctor to get my ears cleaned out because I can’t hear. (I also really like the way it feels!😬)

Solution: get all the wax out with eardrops then use a qtip so you can have that good feeling without damaging your ear

I get regular ear blockages. I use those ear syringes that flush out your ear.

I’ve used q tips all my life and it prevented from accumulating that much wax in my ear, I can hear well and never visited a doctor to take clumps of wax out of my ears

Because the waxing tissue is bigger than the ear wax!

Hey Siri I like videos like this they tell you what not to do but they don’t say what to do that’s very helpful

It does feel goofy but it doesn’t feel good when you go a bit to far and hear loud ringing in one ear and it hurts like hell I guess I learned that the hard way

What’s the alternative??? I’ve tried ear spray 😅 and after one q-tip 😅😂

U can use Q tips when was is only on the walls of ear canal and not let your ear get closed in the first place.
