Just made this and holy cow is it good! Tastes exactly like, but honestly better than, the hibachi clear soup you get at restaurants! Thank you so much for this!! I used to try and remake this soup a couple years ago and each recipe I tried was never ‘quite’ right so I gave up but a couple weeks ago I found this video of yours and was like screw it this guy seems knowledgeable and is funny to boot so obviously gotta try and it blows all those other recipes I tried out of the park! I’ve been making this soup for months! I found a great recipe from another guy that tastes almost the same as the hibachi kind but the only things he didn’t add were ginger and hondashi. Truth be told, I’m really interested in Japanese culture but I’ve never heard of hondashi. 😅
