4K has FOUR TIMES as many pixels as 1080p and 2.25 times as 2K
4K is 2160p (3840x2160) exactly double 1080p (1920x1080) in both dimensions

2K has almost twice as many pixels as 1080p

If not, it is likely because you cannot afford the cost of the hardware necessary for 4K, a 4K monitor and a high-end graphics card like the Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti.

But YouTube is already 4K-enabled. It has a special 4K filter that shows only videos recorded in 4K. Your videos will get more views as people start buying 4K monitors and using this filter, as George shows at the beginning of this video.

This is VERY convincing! How about external storage / Cloud Drive Storage? Recording 4k at uncapped FPS must require a damn good write speed (I think)?

3:24 - You must be running an extremely old version of adobe george! just saying you've been able to export 4k on adobe since 2012 just wasn't any point but I do feel 4k will become a new standard for youtube videos and it slowly has been even if its been recorded at 4k then edit in 1080p for that extra sharpness :)

2:48 - In terms of editing 4k footage, you don't need an expensive rig at all for video editing in 4k you can get away with it with a 6 core AMD Ryzen, 16gb ddr4, 1050ti GPU and editing off an SSD. This type of rig would help someone who is a vlogger or something down the lines for a gamer you will need something beefy that best but could be RTX 2080 could do the job but it always depends if you are recording a PC or a console too!

I don’t think you should record your videos in 4K. While yes it would look good there is basically no real use for it rn. 1080p/2k would be the most feasible since 4K isn’t the standard like 720p was and 1080p still is. While yes 4K is coming around it’s not the standard just yet. We are close though
