The 16 points I talk about in this video:
1. Don't hate yourself so much. There's nothing wrong with you, no one is better than you. EVERYONE has pain, problems and insecurity.

2. Your environment changes you more than you know.... the people around you impact who you are. my family made me a completely different person and changed my psyche

3. Being an adult is easier than you think... every company has customer service, you have google, and nothing is made to purposely be confusing... except taxes and finances.

4. Things will change so much... nothing will stay the same.

5. Value yourself more. Don't give yourself away. Don't date bad men. Have self respect. If you know something will hurt you, don't do it

6. Take your health seriously.... sugar, brain, gut, excorcise. Eat better. Disease is real and can happen to you

7. Make a future plan.... utilize your time. Know yourself better

8. Things will get better, high school is not the best years of your life

9. Dress modestly (and/or know how you dress affects how men see and think of you).

10. Stand up for yourself

11. It's all about your perspective

12. You don't have to live a similar life to those around you. Success is merely accomplishing what you set out to accomplish

13. Don't be so trustful of people. Most people have goodness in them, but most people will hurt you as well

14. Apart from your looks, Change the things you can change that you don't like about yourself. There is a balance between self love and self improvment. If you wish you were A certain way, become that way. For example, I have always wanted to be fearless.

15. Fear is learned. And fearlessness is learned. Fear comes from your brain not knowing what to expect. You can overcome your fears by facing them and your brain will learn it is safe.

16. Your insecurities are given to you... trace them down... I promise you, every single one of them come from someone making a comment or making fun of it. Or seeing something in a magazine.

I came from your "21 years old with no friend" video, and I didn't know I needed this. Your advices is so relevant for 21 years old me who have been depressed for growing up with no close friend around. I'm a bit sad tbh. I wish I was able to get that slap earlier.

Your channel is like having a bigger sister who left a video series for things I’d be going through recently . I moved across the nation at 17 to start college knowing nothing about life and how to be an adult in the eyes of society . I honestly felt like everything I did was wrong and was overwhelmed by everything lol. I wish I had found your channel sooner, I’ll make it a point to see your other videos for tips . Thank you for your video .

Your videos are so REAL. Good grief... You know something? You are perfect in your own way, and regardless of what anyone says, or what you dislike about yourself, YOU are still perfect in YOUR OWN WAY ! I've had my own battles growing up, and when you talk about things, I see them in myself. You're brave and brutally honest. Two very very important life traits. Again, thanks for brightening my day ! :-)

My motto is “life ain’t that serious.” Just have good intentions and put an honest effort into whatever you want to do. If it works out, amazing, if it doesn’t, you don’t have anything to regret because you know deep inside you put in the work.

I couldn’t agree more with #9. I’m 18 and so many young girls my age these days feel comfortable wearing revealing clothes and not to be judge mental but I don’t feel it’s classy at all. I think people will respect you more when they can see that you respect yourself enough to not be showing all your goodies to random strangers. Some ppl may say it’s confidence. Maybe it is. I just think that those are personal parts of yourself and they should be visible to only the man who’s lucky enough to see them.

I'm turning 18 in a few months and I have a crippling fear of adulthood and also driving will be such a burden on my mental health. Thanks for making a vid like this. Found you after the video about friends. You're really inspiring and I really needed to hear all of this.

I'm 18 close to going on 19, life sure can be a struggle at times and have a impact on your sanity, but hearing your advice myra gave me a warmth feeling, see there are all kinds of things in the world that can lead us in to deep thought and can change our perception of how we see and think of stuff, but what really matters is just be you, and never let others get the best of you, everybody has there days but as long as you learn from those past experiences and keep pushing thru, the better things will turn out to be😁 thanks Myra
