Classic Car Tech-The No Start

It happens to all of us...turn the key, and the engine just cranks. It's a problem one of our local viewers was having and this is how we did some quick field troubleshooting and got the old girl to fire up and run.

Once upon a time, and I don't know if they still do this, but Chrysler used to have diagnose and repair competitions where up and coming techs would race the clock and try to figure out what was wrong with jury rigged cars. This video reminded me of that time. As a side note, that V belt looked mighty loose. ;-)

I haven't seen anyone back the wires off in a long time, that's an old school trick for flooded engines and weak coils, man your on top of the game!
