Photoshop Refine Edge Masking Tutorial | Photoshop CC

You don't need Photoshop CC to use Refine Edge and Quick Selection, you can do it in any modern version of Photoshop.

I just found you and that refine tool.  I tried it three times and couldn't do it...lol (photoshop challenged!!).  I thank you though, and will keep trying.  I don't understand why people find it necessary to criticize videos that are free to watch.  smh

Please help: I retouch my photos in LR5 and when I import the jpegs in PS CC they look darker for some reason ..WHY?

good stockfotos and therefor I had to get the lion out of realworld on the white background and third, I realy would appreciate a video to approve my photoshop

making selection out of busy backgrounds...

When I try to use my refine edge tool, it doesn't appear. I get the circle with the line through it. Do you know how to fix that? Or am I doing something wrong? I feel like I'm missing something. Can you advise?

Good tutorial, but poor example using a lion on a white background. You can use most any quick selection tool with such a drastic contrast between foreground and background.

Seriously who has a perfect shot over a solid white background (especially a lion). Not a very real world example.

It was helpful in describing the refine edge tool, but how many lions have you seen posing in front of a white background?  : )

Your other cheat was to put the grey "leftovers" against a grey background.

This did not help. Please zoom in next time you create a tutorial. Half of the prompts (refine edge) and other strokes I couldnt even find on the panel. Sigh! I'll have to go to yet another video.
