TIm Walz gives acceptance speech after winning Minnesota governor race

Walz defeated second-time Republican candidate Jeff Johnson. Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton chose not to run for a third term.

he only carried 22 out of 87 counties (25%) in Minnesota. Jeff Johnson carried 65 of 87 (74%). as a Minnesotan I have to say the divide between the urban areas and rural Minnesota are huge after tuesday. It truly scares me that the urban areas are gaining the power and telling us in rural areas what's best for us when us in rural areas understand it might not always be the case.

So i say this to Gov-elect Walz, you better spend a lot of time listening to Minnesotans living in rural areas when shaping policies so that everyone has a say.

Why does he think we need to raise the gas tax when Minnesota has millions and millions of dollars??? We are already one of the highest taxed states which is why they have the millions of surplus dollars.
If you voted for this chump then don't say a word when your gas goes up another dollar per gallon.

Tim Walz drove intoxicated at over 100 mph in Nebraska aka his home state. He was extremely pro gun until he had to appeal to the liberals in MSP. I’d be very hesitant to think this guy will govern progressive.

I thought he was a good guy, until I watched the news. Minnesota & Wisconsin want to give illegal immigrants a drivers license. (ILLEGAL) What I know about the people who employee these people, they pay cash. So there is no state, federal, or SS tax paid on there wages. (ILLEGAL) So I can teach my kids it is ok to go into a store and take what ever you want, and don't pay for it. Or drive drunk. All of that is ok. You do not have to follow the law. Our elected leaders don't do it, why should I have to????
