New to fish, thought Id done most thigs right, fairly clear water I can see the bottom, slightly brownish, fish swimming well, fast, gobble gobble at feeding time, I have two waste collecting filters charcoal filet all goes though a UV filter.
I took may water to get tested, for ammonia, 26.4. my PH level about 7.3.
6000 ltr tank with about 350 catfish.
I'm just built a big sump tank 8000 ltrs, just starting Aquaponic system.
To bring my Ph down I use distilled vinegar, did it originally before i put the fish in, again when i ran some water out, I filled a IBC tank with water, added Distilled vinegar until I got a Ph level of 6.2 then I pumped it back into my fish tank, nothing has happened to the fish.
