Actually, Two-Face wasn’t cgi. They just blew up Aaron Eckhart’s face and rebuilt it after filming ended

That truly is one of the best CGI things I've ever seen

As a kid, I had no idea how tf they were able to make two face’s face look well…like a halfburnt face.

Another fun fact is that his exposed muscles are accurate and they actually paid attention to the anatomy

When 2008 facial cgi looks better than present day

Calling it cg as if CGI wasn't already short enough

This is one of the most painful burns recreated by CG I've ever seen. It is actually quite impressive. You can almost imagine the agonizing pain Harvey Dent must be having.

That's good cgi, unlike some 2020+ movies movies

Seeing this when I was like 7 in theatres was terrifying

Christopher "Everything has to be identical to reality down to the pixel" Nolan, specifically told them to hold back on the realism with this one., since it would be a bit too freaky

Christopher. Nolan.

The character felt off despite his ark, I think it would have been a nice touch to add him pausing every so often to take out a little bottle of eye drops to quench his eye.

Ive seen the movie 5 times and had no clue that his face was cgi, I assumed it was makeup

I see this as relatively logical. After all, the teeth are part of the "mask". How else would one have presented the parts that are actually behind the cheek?

In real life, Harvey Dent never would have survived such an injury. And even if he did, there's no way he would have been conscious due to the amount of pain he'd be in.

It's amazing that movies from 10 years ago have better CGI than current movies bruh

I had no idea his face was full CGI.
I at least thought a part of it was practical.
That's amazing.

Sometimes I’m shocked at how old this movie is. So much of it seems so modern, and honestly it’s one of my favorite movies. The storyline is amazing, characters are portrayed perfectly, the soundtrack is superb, and the cgi is so good. It’s hard to find a way to bash this movie.

This is why practical lighting is so important. Due to Aaron Ackhart being there in those practical sets the CGI artists have a clear reference for the shading.
