Trick to multiply numbers between 11 and 19
14*18=252
Step 1: Add the larger number to the rightmost digit of the other number: 18+4=22
Step 2: Put a 0 at the end of the result from step 1: 220
Step 3: Multiply the rightmost digits of both original numbers: 8*4=32
Step 4:Add Step 2 and step 3: 220+32=252

I have another trick 61*64 first multiply ones places of both numbers i.e (1*4 =4) .Now add ones places of both numbers i.e (1+4= 5).Now tens place in both numbers is same i.e 6 .multiply 6 and 5 . You will get 30. Now write 0 and keep 3 in mind .Now multiply tens place and tens place I.e 6*6 is 36 .As there is 3 in mind now add 36 and 3 i.e 39
Therefore the answer is 3904

I am finding the answer wrong by doing this method.. For ex 323×316 my answer is coming 102668 where is answer 102068

If have to multiply 65*6 it would not help us at all

Please help me on this I tried doing this method where the product was a negative number and it doesn't seem to work for me. For instance I did 6007 x 5992. The base = 1000 x 6 so base 6000. The sum is 5999 and the product is a negative: - 8 x + 7 = - 56. Because it is a negative I subtracted a 1 from the sum so its 5998 and the product is (1000 - 56) = 944. I then multiplied the 6 and the new sum together so 5998 x 6 = 35988 so 6007 x 5992 should equal 35988944. But the calculator says that the answer would be 35, 993, 944. Where am I going wrong here?
