Facebook's "metaverse" isn't actually a metaverse because it isn't open-source. Imagine a universe where you could only do what was invented by Facebook, and nobody that doesn't work for them couldn't invent anything.

It's good because another pandemic like covid could happen but u could still have fun and play with your friends like they're right next to u. It's also bad because every year the graphics get better and better and at some point, it's going to be life like and we won't know the difference

I think the metaverse is really good with this virus that is going around but also if someone hacks a persons account, then if its a normal human beeings account, the hacker knows how they look, what theyre name is, how theyre house looks, theyre name, and if the hacker has the same voice as the hacked person you have a one on one remake of either among us or the thing

Also the name change really ruined *meta* for me it was one of my favourite words up until the name change
