At the world pokemon championship, a huge move update was announced. This includes nerfing super strong moves like wing attack, counter, and steel wing. It also reduces the switch clock from 60 to 50 seconds.

This week is open great league, ultra league, and master league.

Taking a look at one of the most underrated pokemon in GBL - Alolan Raticate. Paired with very meta clodsire and feraligatr.

I love this self-deprecating commentary. It's all situational. You aren't an expert try hard move counter. You play as logically as you can, but also by hunches and instinct at times.
Also, the new short switch clock is amazing. You can steal all kinds of wins after the bad lead now. Far less RPS.
I actually think I'm playing way better now with the new clock.

Running a #1 Umbreon in the lead, safe switch shadow Feraligatr with HC and Crunch and Toxapex. The two tanks came in clutch multiple times. Hardly seen electric types or moves, Chesnaught is quite tricky though.

Well I feel the same way! Lol I am hardly playing am I okay with that! Maybe Halloween Cup I’ll go all out!

As for G Cup goes that’s a big problem that I don’t like… the number one Mon according to PvPoke is a Exclusive Mon that one could only get in 2020… with the Jessy/James event!?

As right now they are many players without the shadow am some that will go up in rank! Niantic should had have this Mon in shadow for players ( new to the game) get it! Now I’ll say Yeah 90% Great league next week! Lol

Shadow koffing is in raids right now Dan! Do one for the XXL awesome IV one for dual purposes. Can use it in fairy showcases and GBL.

hrm, I do have a shadow rat that I could purify and evolve up. It has terrible IVs for GBL though. I know IVs don't matter a whole lot at my level of play, but hrmmm... Dunno if I'll power that up. Maybe I'll see what pvpoke says if there are any breakpoints or matches where having the higher attack actually helps, and if those are matches I care especially about winning. Rattata candy is common, and it's not *that* much stardust, but hrmmmm

As for what league(s) I'll play... I'll probably give the Galar one a try but mixing in some open GL too if I find myself struggling to find a good team for the Galar one.

I will be giving the Galar cup a try, but unless I dominate, I will be doing 95% normal Great League. I prefer to try and perfect my teams in the GL than tanking/stagnating in a unique cup

I have been having fun with Alolan Raticate as well with shadow Marowak and Clod in the back. I'm going to try a little galar cup but will likely transition back to great league afterwards.

I’m going to try Galar cup. I’m not good at team building but I caught a rank 2 GWeezing and want to use it. gWeez/Diggersby/Kninetails, what’s wrong with this team?
