As a Vietnam era veteran who was never ordered to a combat zone, I find Vance’s attack personally insulting. Every veteran who never served in combat just had their willingness to serve the country degraded. No wonder Vance’s popularity continues to fall.

Walz did go on deployments! He was called to service numerous times. Not WAR, but helping communities clean up after disasters, helped evacuations. Seriously, he RETIRED after 24 years and 8 promotions. AN HONORABLE DISCHARGE. That’s NOT the definition of “stolen valor” and people everywhere NEED to call Vance out on that!
