My mom used to teach Spanish to a German couple. She said they were very gentle and even invited her dinner after class... which she describes as a big, flavorless cookie with spam on top and a small glass of vodka. Of course, she thanked their hospitality, ate with them and went home to have a proper dinner 😂.

What's hilarious is... I've only met one German and this is basically all I ever saw him eat. Bread, cheese and whole vegetables, never cut up. Plus a boiled egg once.
Once on a hike all I saw him eat was a whole bell pepper and a large carrot. 🤣
