Thank you and like. Is 50% of my portfolio in reits too much? I'm currently at around 20% divided in several reits and still have 50% cash in my RRSP not knowing what to do with it

I disagree with interest rates being cut in the near term even only by a little. I guess it depends on what you consider near term really, but I don't expect rates to even start dropping until early 2025. Inflation is still high and they wont cut rates till they are confident inflation is actually dropping closer to 2%

AIRC was my favorite among the residential REITs, couldn’t buy it because of very high spreads at my broker. You think there is a limit at which private investors will be able to buy them? 10B is a lot, but could it be possible to see buyouts of 30B+ or is thismuch less likely? Think about VICI or ARE

You said “even class A malls” as if they normally do bad. Look at SPG - growing their NOI annually by 4-5% without issuing new shares or increasing debt leverage.

Class A malls is a great place to be.
