Enjoy watching the world’s fastest and most powerful snowmobiles and turbo charged, supercharged and nitrous oxide fed 190 mph drag sleds go head to head at the biggest event of the year, the Super Sled Shootout from US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan. Watch top speed, high horsepower Yamaha, Polaris, Skidoo, Arctic Cat and more snowmobiles compete in the Pro Outlaw, Pro Stock Two Stroke, Pro Stock 800 and Bracket Racing categories. There is simply no other event like this in the world. Drag sled racers from all over North American show up to try to win their sport’s version of the NHRA US Nationals. In Pro Stock Two Stroke Edwin Wirbel, Greg Thomas, Scott Hagen and NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle racer Brian Pretzel battle it out. In this class you are allowed up to 1,020 c.c.s, naturally aspirated with a minimum ski and rider weight of 650 pounds. In Pro Outlaw we will see top qualifier and best appearing sled winner Chris Homrich, Rob Lowe, Tom Hoffman, Nick Cash, Justin Plank, Cody Levasseur, Justin Prevost, Dan Lajeunesse, and J. Lenker battle in this unlimited, run what ya bring, turbo, nitrous and supercharged class. The record is held by “Money Train” at 4.58 at 161 mph. We then turn our attention to the well attended Pro Stock 800 class which features OEM chassis, 816 c.c.s max and a minimum rider and sled weight of 650 pounds. This old school class is designed to be more affordable than some of the other heads up categories. In Pro Stock 800 we will see top qualifier Kurt Schultz who has found success in many forms of racing, Dwayne Thomas, Emilee Anger, C Bishop, Chris Ferragamo, Alan Dibler, Mike Winger, Johnny Selgot, Kenny Grossi, Carl Cichetto, C Dolan, R Aylward, Marco Philppon, Brad Noyes, Roger Beguregard and Billy Alexander battle for the event win. We pick up action in the semifinals in the bracket racing category as D Becker, B Beuthin, Aaron Roscizewski and Paul Kerr battle. We also hear more about this great event from Jamie Bellman of Bellman Oil. We also ask you if this is something you would like to try. Enjoy and share the Dash for Cash / Super Sled Shootout!

It's amazing to see what the sport has evolved into. I was the first person to ever run a snowmobile at Martin dragway in the spring of 1999. My 98 SRX trail sled ran 10.60s in the qt with a bone stock motor, trail clutching, Bender skid and skies...

It'd be interesting to see one of these snowmobiles actually in the snow.

Again I just live the sled races!! Kicking myself why I never tried the asphalt racing .but I think ice would hook up just as well as this, had 320 carbide 1” drag spikes in our track, rules say we needed a 4 foot by 4 foot, 12 gauge “spike catcher” at starting line, to bad I can’t post some pics of our sleds

I was running my Nitrous Harley Sportster at the All Harley Drags in Lakeland Florida about 10 years ago, when the snowmobiles started up. The majority of the people there, native Floridians had no idea what the SHREAKING noise was or even what a snowmobile was, LMAO, but I grew up in New England and knew right away. It was a real treat and very competitive racing. Thanks for the video. 🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸

It looks like all of the "heads up" races are 1/8 mile and the brackets are 1/4 mile. Excellent job of the play by play, really enjoyed it.

I love how that team cheers when they actually lost but real drag racing rules. Its not about who leaves the line first, its about the fastest time

More snowmobile behind the scenes shots / under the hood shots, more interviews with riders and mechanics / owners, always good stuff. Great video overall. Thanks
