Phil Wood rides the Big CC 1000hp Stealth Hayabusa Turbo at Elvington runway in UK with 650hp programmed into it to complete the flying quarter mile record from within a standing mile. The bike averaged a speed on a later run of 271mph over the quarter mile distance. Thanks to Big CC Racing, Steelheart Engineering & BTC-Motronics for the bike build.

The talent required to ride a bike that powerful over a measured mile at those speeds should not be underestimated.

Loved my Hayabusas, then sold. Mine were ECU flashed and dyno tuned and it was wild to ride. Can only imagine this bike. I’m 50 so I treated myself to a ZX14 this year. Love these monsters

Fastest I’ve ridden myself is 137 fastest on the back was 175 on my dad’s CBR 1000 Rossi rep, he said he topped it out at 197 on his own. My dad was an awesome rider. RIP pops.

Whoever made that chain deserves a raise and a hug from the rider and his family.

The problem is getting the power down. I had a ride in my mates Dax ( lotus 7 lookalike ) with a turbo Hayabussa engine and even with two of us sat in it it the acceleration was savage so how on Earth you can put any power down through one tiny ( in comparison) contact patch is beyond me !!

Acceleration and achieving top speed in MPH is like "meh, this sucks"

And to think it has nearly 300hp left in it. Shit is spinning in 6th at lower rpms. God damn. With the right aeros and full power, 300 in a standing mile is very very very achievable.

Thats a motor bike. It has 300hp more then my V8 performance car.

I’ve got a turbo Busa with an extended swing arm. It’s not 600 horse power though it’s 360 horse power. I do intend on get work done on the header to give better flow and volume and eventually get a bigger turbo. I’m not sure if he’s got an extended swim arm on this machine but if he hasn’t he will struggle to use full throttle as it just wants to kick him if the back and as the turbo kicks in at high speed it’s still doing it you can see a few time the front wheel goes light and he struggles to keep the wheel on the ground. When you put a lot of horses on a street consumer bike it’s not designed for that and the wheel base is to short this is why you see wheely bars on dragster bikes or extended swing arms on turbo busas to handle the power. I’ve been 210 on mine on a strait on a race course here in the U.K. and it still has way more to go.
