If you're a struggling student who wants a Laptop replacement get a Surface Go. You have a full file browser, mouse support, USB Flash drive, external SSD/HDD support, full Office apps, etc

Great comprehensive video on Apple’s current iPad lineup! One quick note though: beyond the addition of the new squared shape.capacitive button and the vastly improved charging method, there is actually no difference between the Apple Pencil when it comes to pressure sensitivity or overall drawing accuracy . If you have an iPad with a 120hz screen, the latency and sensitivity is identical between the two pencils. So technically one is not more accurate than the other.

You can buy a refurbished iPad Pro 10.5 on Amazon $100 cheaper than an iPad Air 3 (2019). Those extra two speakers make a difference. Plenty fast too

I'm a writer, so I need a really comfortable keyboard. Unfortunately, the iPad keyboard doesn't cut it. I'm looking at the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 or the Microsoft Surface Book 2 with the new 8th gen i5. I know a lot of people for whom the iPad serves as a laptop replacement. My mom is one of them. I need a laptop that can be a tablet, which is why the Surface products would be a better fit for me. I hope Microsoft updates the Surface line and adds a Thunderbolt 3 port this year.
