Well, I interviewed at a company I already worked for.

I matched about 95% of the role.

I passed the coding challenge, which was FizzBuzz, its basically a memorization thing, but I acted like I didnt quite know the next step so I incorporated the interviewer,

saying hm I could do this what do you think? He says you're on the right track, so I finish and get a passing all code passes.

I get one question that was NOT on my resume, that was a qualification..

I answer it somewhat, but its a not sure response, kinda sounds like this.

I get rejected saying they're pursuiing candidates that more closely align with the role.

I worked there already.

If I knew that one qualification I would be 100% a match.

Really frustrating being ruled out when you know 100% of the role because they think you will be bored (maybe so, but I would have stayed long-term anyway and have never left a job due to boredom) but also ruled out because you are not a master at one particular skill or don’t have a specific background.

I have a question. How you say you have a day or two of appointments like doctor appointments and you need the day off and was made before the interview. How to tell the them and when to tell them that you need those days off during the interview and your about to be hired??
