2022 Tesla Model X - Delivery Day!

Getting the Tesla Model X Long Range! Today we went to pick up our new refreshed Tesla Model X. It is in Pearl White Multi-Coat Exterior with black and white interior.

I am waiting for the same X and appreciate the tips on what to look for. Delivery day is super emotional and exciting, so It takes a lot of discipline to keep those feelings in check so you can evaluate the vehicle somewhat objectively. Might help to bring a friend to play devil's advocate.

Congrats on your new X LR, and good luck on fixing the issues, hopefully you don’t have to wait long.
We ordered our X LR September 2021 for delivery date March 2022, got moved to May then July and now October 2022 🤬. The only positive thing out of this is we’re saving good amount of money 💵 since the price already went up couple of times to about $114k.
My wife is also picking up her M3 next month 🤞🏽if all goes well.
It’s been a roller coaster ride for lots of people and unfortunately it’s the time we live in.

Man my wife and I just ordered a long range Model X and it’s going to be a year for us as well. Our delivery date is between January and April. This wait is excruciating lol 😂

I have had a 3, Y and now have an X. Like you, I love the car. But every one of my Teslas has had some issue on delivery, and the 3 and Y had more serious issues that developed later. I was very frustrated. But Tesla fixed everything, gave me a loaner and didn't charge anything. What I have discovered is that once the delivery and other bugs are fixed, the cars are very reliable. I had to drive my new 2023 X home over 60 miles with no connectivity and a black screen. But as they promised it was working by the next day. I love Tesla and don't want anything else. But I wish their quality control was better.

I take delivery of my MS LR tomorrow and it’s been a roller coaster of a journey and incredibly draining and annoying. So happy it’s finally coming to an end! Congrats on your Model X! Seems like you went through a bunch as well but I’m happy to know it was worth the headaches!

Hey, I've had the exact same issue as yours and it persisted even after a long waited service. Ended up returning the car it was due to the car upper panel not aligning with the falcon wing door angled when it closes. I don't know how this happens. There are so many QC issues with the $100K plus car which I've never had issues with BMW or LEXUS that I've owned before.
I think more and more people shouldn't accept their cars if these type of major defects are discovered. This doesn't happen in cheap $30K Honda cars.

after seeing the X in person when we picked up our Model Y, I wish I could have gotten the X but a extra 40K was way to much lol. one day ill get one.

I placed an order for my x plaid a year a go and it is still uncertain when it will be in production yet here in UK. So you are the lucky one!

All these issues are completely unacceptable on this price point. You WOULD never see this with another manufacturer with this price tag. People get caught up on the HYPE and tech on these things that they somehow keep supporting the brand. These are the times we live in I guess.

I like tesla's although I don't really like electric cars due to the fact it takes long to charge, so I would stick with gas, I am not old enough to drive a car although I enjoy watching these videos.
