Did You Know In SHREK THE THIRD…

We get a comedic vision of a character’s backstory that also includes a nod to a classic television series. In the moment when Captain Hook threatens Gingerbread Man, poor Gingey’s life flashes before his eyes. We then get a funny reel of moments from his life including him being born, getting married etc. There is a moment that shows him recovering after his legs being removed in the first Shrek movie by Lord Farquaad. The image of him on the treadmill, the heart monitor graphic and the theme music playing is a call back to the TV series “The Six Million Dollar Man”.

Another thing, if you notice at his legs, they're not fully repaired and they're being held up by frosting. You can also see tiny cracks in them seeing that they're broken.

I have a theory that genji only made up that story about his girlfriend as a joke cuz he knew it would be scary but that he does plan on marrying her and eventually he does which is why his wife in the flashback looks just like the one from the scary story

Did you know in Shrek the third . The gingerbread man has lines of icing on his legs to call out how gingerbread man stitched himself a new pair of legs after lord Farquad ate them and that the lines are the aftermath of stitching.
