Later in puss in boots 2 the 3 bears are alive and it's supposed to be the same universe lol (same happened with rumplestilskin in the Shrek movies where he was "recasted")

But if you want really creepy details from Shrek 1 I'll give you one: Fiona ate all the men who tried to save her and were killed by the dragon, she literally had a recipe in the walls of the tower and it wasn't for the dragon lol, she needed to eat something being trapped there and being a monster in nights.
*There's a special short named Fiona that literally shows this and it's totally creepy

I noticed as a kid which made the ending when dragon eats farquad more satisfying.

Shrek is one of my favorite movies of all time. No doubt classic.
