Civic, Golf, Leon – which is best? 👇

I’ve had mine for 2 months now and it’s averaged 52mpg over 2, 500 miles of mixed driving. It’s a brilliant car and a lot of fun to drive.

A seat adjustment lever is WAY better than a wheel. I am 6.1 and I am NEVER able to comfortably position my hand over the wheel because in my driving position the seat inevitably aligns with the B pillar, thus blocking the wheel. A lever makes adjusting MUCH faster (you pull to unlock the backrest, use your body to position it and let the lever go) than desperately turning a frigging knob (pun intended).

Love it! Prefer the lever to the wheel for seat adjustment. Impressed with the mpg AND something you maybe forgot to mention, Honda's reliability record, which is well up there. Great honest review, as usual. 👍

Test drove one and fell in love with it, ordered one. It's not just the efficiency, the thing can shift from the line and is great on corners. I got 66mpg driving across Sheffield with its hills.

I've had my Civic Sport in Premium Crystal Blue for 3 and a half months and I'm very happy with it. I've covered just shy of 10.000mi and I've saved a good 160L of petrol since compared to my previous KIA Cee'd JD 1.6GDI that I had for 5 and a half years and covered 88, 000mi in it. Talking about the drive, it definitely comes alive on a twisty road, great fun. All in all, a brilliant little car.

I've always been a fan of Honda cars. Loved their reliability, their overall quality and knowing one would be buying a car 'for life' if so wished.
The one thing preventing me from getting a civic for the last 15 years or so was their design. Both exterior and interior.
So now Honda as nailed it on design department (exterior and interior) but I'm not a fan of the power train anymore...
PLEASE, honda Europe, give a non hybrid option to the old souls like me

Got mine in October 2022. In Metric: 4, 6 liters / 100 km. From Germany 600km Autobahn to Holland 5, 1/100km

Just looked at leasing costs, £583 a month, 8000 miles, 3 months upfront. Ludicrous, I had a Volvo XC90 from 2019 to 2022 on same terms for £552 a month. Car prices are just stupid.

Is the catalytic converter inside the engine bay? Very worried about cat theft.

HRV incredibly loud? Really? If you shove your foot to the floor it will be but if driven as intended not so! (at least mine isn't) Yes a bit of road noise. That said the new hybrid system in the Civic is an improvement but then it is a different class of car to the HRV.

This Civic is much better than what's out of Europe.

Will the HRV get the updated system in time?

My favorite car.

In South Africa, this car costs R 677 000.00

What you talking about. Lever is 10 times better than a wheel. Seriously

I wish honda Europe would offer this car with the engines available in the US and a diesel, especially as their 1.6 was actually pretty good and us still emissions compliant for E6d

0-60 in under 7 and 50 real world mpg are pretty good figures. I would probably prefer the estate though

I bought an eight month old 1.0 mk 10 Civic SR in May 2021 for £17500. A new entry level MK11 is over £30k !! I know it is a hybrid, but you are talking around £10, 000 more for the new model. Absolutely ridiculous.

Went to the dealer today and was told there is a 8 month wait for one of these. 😩
