The Flash’s VFX and CGI was bad for a reason. Visual effects companies are being throttled by the expectations from movie studios like Disney, Sony, Marvel, Warner Bros., Netflix, and DC. Your favorite superhero movies are being ruined because of the demanding schedule that these major studios are adhering to for no reason other than to please the shareholders. They want to report growth every quarter, so they increase the pressure on VFX artists to deliver faster and faster results.

Well, the VFX creators look at the studios. Tell them, their shareholders be rather pissed. If the movie they spent money on. Just flopped and is mocked hard for bad CGI. All because the studio only cares about money. Not making...art. And movies are a form of art. After all. People remember the famous films that are nearly timeless (showing their age but timeless). All because they focused on the art. Not making money. The money making part just happened. And then, there are cult classics. Which are good and have a strong following. They make good money. Maybe not at first, but far more than some big blockbuster that is pumped out like garbage.
