Random Variables and Probability Distributions

This video introduces the notion of a random variable "X". Random variables are similar to standard variables in calculus, except they have a probability that follows a distribution, like a Gaussian. Random variables are a key abstraction that will allow us to bring powerful tools from calculus and analysis to probability and statistics.

Wow, this is really simple and easy to understand.
I just joined college after tha gap of 8 years and had been struggling to get grasp of the basics.

Nice series! Nice videos.
Just a side note:
It would be nice to teach pobability with other examples than the classic ones. The reason is that using other examples will, for sure, give many people other perspectives and make them understand what they didn't since high school with those so classic and far from realworld useful usecases.
