I’m new to vcarve. I usually use easle. So thank you for this. Do you have a video of how to carve from here? After I set my picture up. What next would you have a video of that. I personally believe that’s why people use easle. It’s super simple. However misses so much detail in the carve.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I did learn from your video how to use the trace a bitmap, that was helpful. I am actually trying to do a Nissan logo, but having issues understanding how to do the same thing, but find B&A doesn't work well and with using colours I can't seem to some in on the colours properly without lots of other background stuff coming into play, stuff that isn't even fixable at the vet go. Maybe the image is to complicated? I would love to carve it in 3D at some point. Just hacking around with it, but can get a wee bit frustrating. Any tips? Thanks, Andrew

Pretty neat. You need to get yourself a 3D printer to play with. Thanks for sharing. Dave

Does this work in Vcarve Desktop or only Vcarve Pro

Thanks for the video. It helped me a lot.
One point though, a lot of the images available on the internet are copyright. Just saying

Hey Dave, the video title says "Aspire and VCrave pro" Does that mean they both have the same interface?

I imported a black and white bmp. There is a bitmap layer and a new layer from the tracing. When I turn the bmp layer off the image doesnt change. The new layer1 has everything on it. So when I turn layer1 off everything vanishes. I am in aspire 9.514.

Are you leaving your V-Carve open when googling to grab your image?

Dave, do you always save images as a JPEG?
