Be sure to hit the like button on the video above. One of the recent video, I forgot to ask for likes and video performed very poorly because of dislikes from possible CCP bots. It just proves your likes make a huge difference, so thank you so much for the likes and please be sure to drop a like above.

Companies wanted to make their products in China and save massively in labor costs and open up the market of 1.4 billion people for their products. They learned that they had to forfeit business processes and technical know-how to the government, which made its own version and undercut their sales.

Vietnam and India's growth are why china is trying so hard to cut them off from waters that flow from and through china.

The pandemic was an eye opener. It revealed how vulnerable the world/U.S economy was due to the over reliance on cheap chinese labour. Time to bring critical production jobs home or at least to diversify production.

We can all thank the large corporations for building up the biggest threat to humanity. All the while they gutted our own countries working class by outsourcing.

The US can be self-sufficient, but greed sucks the life out of this beautiful country and is killing our economy.

I used to work in manufacturing about 20 years ago. I built 6 x 6 foot back panels for the automated manufacturing. Those back panels had PLCs, Programable Logic Controllers, to run machinery.
What If I told every person in the world, that they cut the price of making things more than 90% decades ago with robots and they can bring production back home, cut prices by 50% and give people a living wage, and still make a huge profit.
At this point in time, they have eliminated roughly 15 out of 16 jobs do to automation, and they can absolutely bring production back home and still make big dollars.
The problem is, these companies are greedy to the point of mental illness, literally would kill and starve people, to keep "control" and make one extra dollar.
It's disgusting.

I remember lobbying our congressman in NC to block the out sourcing of the jobs and being told the cost savings would be passed on to the consumer and that would be good for the economy. The price of TV's went down but that's about it. And we didn't even make TV's in NC. Carolina boots are still just as expensive as when they were made here.

I’m curious if the “Made in China” note on products has the same stigma of being cheap in other countries as it does in the US. We have decades of that association, so even if/when China shifts to primarily manufacturing top quality goods, it will take beyond 2025 for anything marked “Made in China” to be seen as anything but the cheap versions.

Considering the CCP often and without warning seized assets of foreign companies in China including foreign companies' factories, stock, machinery etc. I'm glad to hear companies wised up and got out!.

This is good news overall. Not because I'm rooting for China to fail but because a diversity of supply chains and a more even spread of economic growth provides a more stable economic situation globally. There are those that argue we are entering an age of de globalization, I think if this trend continues, this is what true globalization looks like. No longer is China monopolizing manufacturing which means supply chains and manufacturing is spread across the world and will lift economies globally.

as a Canadian, i would still willingly pay a bit more for higher quality products MADE IN USA / MADE IN CANADA.
so many asian products are low to poor quality, that the low price sure matches it.
the world needs better standards and expectations, NOT PROFITS.

I am glad to hear China's manufacturing is taking a hit. But I would like to see North American manufacturing become strong again.

A lot of manufacturing is actually moved to Mexico too so Mexico is also gaining from China's loss
