Complex Logarithm

We derive the formula ln(z) = ln(|z|) + i arg(z) for the logarithm of a complex number z, and discuss its derivative and its discontinuities, which have size 2*Pi*i. We illustrate that the logarithm is the inverse function of the exponential function e^z.
