Thank you for this honest and informative review. This is a brand I've become interested in 2024. Bought a couple of dresses in summer collection (one if which is denim) and was really pleased with
Pity about the 100% polyester/acrylic jumpers though - even if it's recycled I still don't want it!
Loved the first two dresses and most of it on you but if it's not your personal style I agree don't keep it

i was tempted by your introduction and bought 5 pieces of dresses and blouse in discount promotion. The price was bit higher than England but still acceptable after discounted. Thanks for your share about your size😘. Based on your size, i ordered mine and quite close to my size.

This is so helpful thanks - so many people don’t consider longer wear and just make videos on things they will only wear a few times :( their cotton items are great but everything ecovero/lending I’ve had from them has worn terribly!

Very helpful, thanks, Katie. I bought a Lyocell/linen blend summer dress in June and after the first wash the colour had faded, so I was annoyed about that. I do like the cut and wearability of their dresses, like you say, they are comfortable for curvy ladies and nip you in at the right place!

I was excited to see they offer petites then sad because they only offer a really limited range of petites to Australia compared to either UK or USA. I’ll definitely look through for their cotton items though. A bit disappointing about your first order….that is concerning. Thank you for sharing 💕

Very nice review, thank you Katie. So many pieces to consider! Everything looks exceptionally nice on you, this brand suits you. I really liked the gingham top and the denim jumpsuit. The denim dress I also find really nice but it maybe not warm enough for winter. There is also a very nice green pinafore mini dress on their website whichI am now considering 🙂

I love Doen but there are very few reviews on Doen . Probably because they’re pricey, but I love to see the pieces on someone and hearing their opinion on the fit .

The black gingham blouse would look amazing with the little black pinafore shift from Sezane that you tried last year! I think you bought the green one and were having trouble styling it. Maybe give the black another go?

Thank you for your video. My bug bear with Nobody's Child 's dresses is that they ofter have some bust styling detail - under the cup area. This does not work for anyone with a more generous chest. I am a 34D so not massive but the bust detail never, ever sits correctly and I cannot buy as a result.

A lot of these clothes are gorgeous on you. The US prices are sooo much higher so unfortunately what you said about the value for money doesn't apply. The prices are basically same as Sezane (for tops and skirts, not dresses) here!

I had really high hopes for Nobody's Child and I love the style of their pieces, but they just didn't hit the mark for me.

I ordered the quilted gilet from them recently and the quality didn't reflect the price of the item for me at all. The sewing on the quilting just seemed really poorly done, the fabric was...meh, the shape was weird, and there were so many loose threads I'm not sure how quality control missed them. They're not Sezane prices granted, but I just expected more from a brand twice as expensive as certain fast fashion shops that shall not be named.

I also found the overall customer care really lacking. Their initial dispatch was super slow, and considering they (over)charge a whopping £5 for standard delivery, you'd think they'd be in more of a hurry to get orders out. I sent it back the same day and had to contact Royal Mail for them to confirm it had reached the warehouse because Nobody's Child didn't let me know themselves. Then it took them another week for them to issue my refund and further two days for it to reach my bank.

All in all, I'm not impressed. Maybe if I see that cute black cord dress in M&S or John Lewis I'll try it on, but I'm not in a rush to order from their site any time soon considering the three week hassle it was for one disappointing gilet.
